Property taxes
Summer tax bills are issued July 1 and winter tax bills are issued December 1. Summer taxes are due by the statutory September deadline and winter taxes by the last business day of February without penalty. After the February deadline, unpaid real-property taxes are returned to the Saginaw County Treasurer as delinquent. Personal-property taxes remain payable at Township Hall.
Payment options
- Online through the BSA Online portal (a service fee applies)
- Mail to the township office (postmarks are not accepted; the payment must arrive by the due date)
- In person by cash, check, or card (card payments include a service fee)
- Secured drop box at Township Hall, available outside business hours
Dog licenses
Township dog licenses are sold December 1 through February 28 each year. Standard license: $25; spayed/neutered: $12; senior-citizen rate: $5. Proof of a current rabies vaccination is required. After February 28, licenses are available from the Saginaw County Treasurer or participating veterinarians.
